SITUATION: Distress calls have just been received from the U.S.S. Wellington on patrol near the Romulan border. Due to the delicate nature of our relationship with the Romulans, extreme caution is advised. The Romulans will attack with little provocation.
ASSIGNMENT: Send one of your ships to locate the vessel, aid the crew, and tow it back to Starbase. Do not allow your captain to initiate hostilities with the Romulans.
OBJECTIVES: Your mission will be successful if you can get the Wellington and its crew back to base without starting an incident. Time is of the essence as all life support on the Wellington is likely to fail shortly. Good luck.
